A large-scale floral painted in acrylic and inspired by the ‘Impressionist’ interpretation
of the Victorian interior. Artists such as Matisse who painted the often dark, cluttered
interiors of this era with bold sweeps of the brush and vibrant bright colour. Dramatic
wallpapers photographed at Stafford Terrace, a property frozen in time from the
1900s, were the starting point for this floral, which adds drama.
