Melbourne Trench Coat Pattern

The Melbourne Trench Coat is a classic single-breasted trench style. Unlined, it features a button-through opening, inverted back pleat, curved patch pockets, collar and a detachable hood. The perfect mid-season wardrobe piece!

Sizes (AUS): 6-16

Recommended fabrics: water-resistant polyester, nylon, medium weight wool and wool crepe, firm cotton, cotton blends.

Notions: thread, 1.25cm lightweight interfacing, 6 x 23mm buttons, 5 x 15mm buttons, 7.5m x 12mm bias binding (optional)

Copy Shop pattern: There are four pattern sheets. Sheets 1 and 2 are 841mm x 1300mm, Sheet 3 is A0 size and Sheet 4 is A1 size. 

Print-at-home pattern: There are 88 pattern tiles in total. Sheet 1 is 31 pages, Sheet 2 is 31 pages, Sheet 3 is 26 pages and Sheet 4 is 19 pages. On each pattern sheet, page 1 includes the test square. To check for scale accuracy, we strongly recommend printing page 1 first.
