The Sewing With Boiled Wool Class is perfect for you if you're able to sew your own garments but would like to learn excellent tips and tricks to jump start your boiled wool project.
This workshop will enable you to cut out and make up your Tessuti Pattern boiled wool garment.
This workshop will teach the mystery of the overlapping seams made easy. Participants will get hands on experience cutting and handling boiled wool, creating darts, facings and sew/cut pockets before they begin their own project with confidence. Such a fun sewing technique that will see you finish your garment in no time.
To prepare for the workshop you will need to cut out your pattern. If in doubt, have your pattern with you and the teacher will help you work out suitable size in class.
Equipment List:
- Sewing Machine (Tessuti have sewing machines, there is no need to bring your own)
- Rotary cutter for cutting boiled wool
- Scissors for cutting paper
- Measuring tape
- Thread clippers
- Unpicker
- Thread to match your fabric
- Contrast bright sewing thread
- Tailors Chalk
